A middle class family is spending the day out shopping, preparing for the arrival of a new baby. The consumerist bliss turns into a nightmare when the father of the family is intercepted by a group of masked vigilantes to punish him for his transgressions. The film premiered at Venice. The director’s previous film, British by the Grace of God, screened at ZFF 2017.

He is a filmmaker from Scotland and a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film program. His thesis film, British by the Grace of God (ZFF 2017), premiered at Locarno and went on to screen at a number of prominent European festivals.
