A quirky romantic comedy about Victor (Daniel Auteuil – Caché), a grumpy sixty-year-old convinced that the best days of his life are far behind. When his wife can’t take it anymore and kicks him out, Victor accepts the offer of enthusiastic entrepreneur Antoine who promises him an entirely new form of entertainment. With the help of elaborate film sets and crew, Antoine’s agency offers clients a chance to enter a historic period of their choice. Victor chooses the year 1974, the most thrilling time of his life, when he met his wife. Neon lights, cigarette smoke and dazzling actress Margot soon have Victor completely captivated and the line between past and present blurs. The film premiered at Cannes.
