Dubrava Public University is an important cultural centre in the eastern part of Zagreb. It would be hard to count how many art exhibitions, theatre plays, concerts, film screenings, debates and workshops took place there. A special accent is placed on amateur creativity, both in the fields of folklore, music and dance, and in fine arts. The Public University plays a significant educational role thanks to its many courses and training programs.
