At first glance, Clara is a typical twelve-year-old girl. One day, a mysterious black cat scratches her and she acquires the ability to speak to animals. She learns that she comes from a family of wild witches who have a singular connection to nature. But Clara is special. She is the new keeper of a magical world she has to save from an evil witch and her dark forces. Clara accepts her responsibility and with the help of her aunt and friends embarks on a dangerous adventure. Wild Witch is the first film based on the popular book series by author Lene Kaaberbøl.
