An erotic dance theatre in Lahore prepares for a new show just as a sacrificial goat goes missing, a dreamy trans girl vies for the spotlight, and a naive young boy falls in love. An exploration of masculinity and femininity set in a highly sexualised erotic dance subculture of the otherwise repressive Pakistani society (Venice – Best Short Film).

Saim Sadiq

A Pakistani filmmaker studying Filmmaking at Columbia University. His earlier documentary work screened on national TV networks and went viral on social media in Pakistan. His short films screened at festivals across the world. He is currently developing his first feature, Gulaab.
